This is probably one of the smallest and lightest Ascenders that you can lay your hands on. Designed for 10/11mm rope it has been known to work on 9mm. It works with the use of a spring-loaded cam with serrated teeth that catch the rope once it is loaded.
An ideal get out of jail free card that only weighs 62g.
Not suitable for self belay but can be used for hauling and lowering purposes as an autobloc.
